Review 7: Final H6 Cleanup Recommendation

Review 7 assessed the project after H6P1.

The verdict was:

H6P1 gave the Pulse Model its best Pulse-native diagnostic object, but still no source-response law.

That means the project is not currently on a live internal path to unify general relativity and quantum mechanics.

What H6P1 Achieved

H6P1 defined a genuinely Pulse-native closed-loop defect:

ΔL=esLeθe\Delta_L = \sum_e s_{Le}\theta_e

The loop coefficients must close at every node, and reversing loop orientation flips the sign of the defect.

It also defined the covariance-weighted closure functional:

I[g,ρ,R]=12LLΔLCLL1ΔLI[g,\rho,R] = \frac{1}{2}\sum_{LL'}\Delta_L C^{-1}_{LL'}\Delta_{L'}

and the finite response analogue:

Ja=dIdgaJ_a = -\hbar\frac{dI}{dg_a}

Those are useful diagnostics. They are not a stress-energy tensor, not a conserved source law, and not a new gravitational equation.

What Failed

H6P1 did not derive:

  • a conserved tensor response
  • a continuum intrinsic closure covariance law
  • a new Pulse-native coefficient
  • a fixed observable distinct from H6S4-C stochastic and H6S4-Q quantum mediator baselines

The result was therefore not the missing GR/QM bridge.

Route Summary

RouteResult
H6S4-C stochastic classical pulse geometryDiagnostic tool; too close to stochastic semiclassical gravity without a conserved distinct law.
H6S4-Q quantum pulse geometry or mediatorConditional derivation of known quantum mediator structure.
H6P1 pulse closure responsePulse-native closure diagnostic; no conserved response law.

Recommendation

Pull the plug on new-physics pursuit inside the current Pulse Model.

Do not discard the project. Preserve it as:

a structured map of how pulse, phase, and proper-time language reproduces known physics and exposes why candidate source-response routes fail.

The last worthwhile cleanup task was to update the public reader-flow docs:

  • pulse_model/appendix/h6/index.md
  • pulse_model/current_status.md
  • pulse_model/roadmap.md
  • pulse_model/frontier_strategy.md
  • pulse_model/reviews/final_h6_assessment.md

Those docs should state that H6P1 completed the Pulse-native closure-response attempt and ended as a diagnostic tool. The project has no accepted source-response law, controlled modification, or new prediction.

Do not start H6S5 as a novelty path. If an H6S5 page is ever added, it should be a final observable kill-gate summary, not another research branch.

The final recommendation is:

Archive the Pulse Model as a conservative reformulation and diagnostic framework unless a genuinely new external principle is introduced.
